The Cultural Structuring of Mealtime Socialization – Elinor Ochs, Merav Shohet

The title says it all. This paper discusses the impact mealtime has for children and the their social skills. It also discusses how mealtime varies in cultures. I would not say that this paper has changed how I approach mealtime with my kids, but rather it gave me a better understanding of the methods I use.
